This move has been made in order to increas the system’s audience, although some EU states, like Britain and Germany, opposed. An EU executive said that “DVB-H will be published by the Commission in the list of official EU standards.” All Member States of the European Union will have to encourage the use of DVB-H for the launch of mobile Tv services.
